The Aboriginal Conference on Employment Strategies will be hosting an Artisans Showcase & Sale in conjunction with its 3rd Annual Conference. The Showcase & Sale will be a three day event featuring cultural and artistic work of Aboriginal people across the Province of BC.
The Artisans Showcase & Sale will be an opportunity for you to buy unique, authentic Aboriginal craftwork and enjoy a beautiful array of colors, the smell of tanned hides and a huge selection of Aboriginal artwork including:
· Beadwork •Regalia •Carvings
· Paintings •Dreamcatchers •Pottery
· Masks •Moccasins •Eagle head knives
· Pine needle baskets •Birch bark baskets •Clothing
· Jewelry •Rattles •Drums
· Shawls
It will be an opportunity for the Artisans to showcase their work, make sales and make contacts for future orders. If you are of Aboriginal ancestry and are interested in participating in the Showcase, the price for a table is $50.00 for the entire three days. Please note that there will be a limited number of Artisans Applications Approved. Successful applicants will be sent a confirmation letter. Deadline for Artisan’s Applications for Registration is set for February 28, 2006.
